Confidently identifying the assets and liabilities within an estate is an increasingly challenging and complicated task, with the Canadian Escheatment process revealing significant assets lying unclaimed following the death of the account holder. Searching paper statements is time-consuming and becoming more unreliable as financial services provision move on-line.

Our comprehensive search works by sourcing data and information from a variety of sources demonstrating a clear audit trail of all reasonable steps undertaken;

  • Asset Search: we actively notify and search wide range of banks, mutuals, investment managers, pension providers and insurers to help identify live, online, lost and dormant accounts. We currently notify more than 150 organisations for only $400.
  • Vulnerability Registration: we are building a register of deceased individuals and are beginning to work with Canadian financial data providers to ensure that this data is available to be searched at credit decisioning to reduce the likelihood of fraud against deceased persons’ estates.

All orders can be placed securely online through our dedicated portal. offering access to a variety of searches and services. Our final Asset Search is delivered after 30 working days, during which time we will notify you of relevant asset matches received in real-time including copies of any relevant correspondence, reference numbers and contact details. We will continue to monitor inbound correspondence indefinitely.
